How to Play Click Darts
To play Click Darts, you click on the dartboard where you want to aim your
throw. Your throw will hit somewhere near where you clicked. There is no
hand-eye coordination involved, so this game is 100% strategy. The game
randomly determines where the dart hits based on where you aimed, which throw
you used, and how good you are with that throw.
You start with only a "Straight" throw. This throw goes somewhere nearby where
you clicked with an even spread in all directions. As you click and play, your
click meter will slowly fill up. Eventually, it will fill completely, and
then it will become more accurate. For more information, see
Getting Better.
As you get better, new throws will be made available. The curve, hook, and
bullet each have their uses. After you use them a couple of times, you will
figure it out. You can also get more details in
Click Darts Throws.
As you compete with other players, you will be rated against them. This
website uses a chess ratings system, modified to fit a multi-player game.
Players gain and lose rating after every game based on the outcome of the
match, the rating of their opponent, and the amount of time since their last
rating. More details are available in
Understanding the Ratings.
There are several Game Types available, so be sure
to familiarize yourself with the rules of different
darts variations.
