This is the terms of use to which you are agreeing by checking the box on the
signup page which says "I have read and agree to be bound by the Terms and
Conditions of this website."
Terms and Conditions
I reserve the right at any time to change these Terms of Use in any way. Any
time that you log into this site, you are accepting any changes which I have
made to these Terms. Any time I make a change, I will post that change in the
news section of ClickDarts.com (the Site) for a period of 30 days. Be sure to
check the news before you sign in.
Privacy Policy
I will not give your e-mail address out to anybody. I will only e-mail you if
you explicitly let me by checking the box next to "I would like to receive
e-mail updates."
Violation of Terms
Any violation of these terms may result in the deactivation of your account,
the loss of game materials, or a decrease in website permissions.
Account Use
You are being given access to the site for your own personal use only, and you
can not give access to your account to any other person for any reason. Each
person may have only one account, for their use only.
Age Minimum and Age Appropriateness
You must be 13 years of age or older to create an account. Please make sure
your contributions to it are appropriate.
Cheating
You may not reveal to any other player any information which the website
displays to you, unless that other player has access to the same information
at the same time using their own account. Fixing of games is not allowed.
Your Comments
There are many different ways of sending your messages to the Site. You can use
the message boards, private messages, and send feedback through the contact
forms. In addition, there are several in-game ways to submit information, such
as character names or descriptions. There are a few things that need to be said
about all of this information which you submit to the site (called "it"):
- You are fully responsible for the content of it.
- Once you submit it, it becomes my intellectual property.
- I am under no obligation to pay you for it.
- I am under no obligation to respond to it.
- You may not violate any laws of the State of Illinois or of the United
States with it.
- I reserve the right to remove or edit it at any time and for any reason.
Disclaimer
All of the contents of this site are provided as-is with no warranties of any
kind, express or implied. You are using this site at your own risk, and you
assume full responsibility for any damage which this site does to anything
which you use in connection with this site.
Log Files
Like any website, the Site does keep log files. These files contains all sorts
of standard information about your IP address, browser type, computer type,
date and time of page load, etc. Personally, I do not care about this
information, so I never look at it. I just want to tell you that it is there
and that I do not link it with any of your account information.
Account Information
In addition to containing any information you directly add to it, your account
stays connected to any information you submit to the website. In many cases,
your current IP address is linked into this information. This information
includes a listing of which pages you visited and at what time. It can be used
to reconstruct your movement through the site. Again, I just want to tell you
that I collect this, and that I do not link it with the log files.
Severability
If any part or parts of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid, illegal,
unenforcable, or in conflict with the law, the remainder of the agreement shall
stay in effect with no alteration.
